The HESI LPN practice test prepares nursing candidates to pass the standardized exams of the Health Education Systems. These exams evaluate a candidate’s progress, competency and achievements. Several types are given, including the entrance and exit, as well as specialty subject exams.

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) must pass three of these examinations. They include the entrance, mid-way (taken during the junior year), and final exams. HESI LPN Practice Test. While the mid-way and final Health Education Systems exams have five main sections, the entrance exam often includes a sixth. A majority of students must take the initial exam several times before they achieve passing scores. In order to ensure each version of the exam is different, students must wait 60 days before re-testing.

Several nursing websites offer practice tests for Licensed Practical Nursing candidates. The questions may include the disciplines within biology (botany, zoology, microbiology, etc.), areas within mathematics (trigonometry, calculus, algebra, geometry, etc.), and the definition of context clues. The HESI LPN practice test can help a student prepare for important evaluations. Many professionals suggest students study two to three weeks before taking their exams. Studying with a partner, reading information out-loud, and condensing written notes are among the top methods for retaining information.
